I thought it was something to the effect that Portuguese was close to
Spanish, and your Portuguese was better than Spanish. I am thinking "ik" is
"ich" , "bettje" - better or besser, "mijn" "mij" - mine and my. Also
probably something about it was good enough to post.:-)
Now if you spoke it I would not have been able to understand unless it was
slow and I could here it all. Or maybe not as the sounds would be to a
virgin ear again.:-)
