Quantum GIS can't even do queries? dananrg 07-22-2006

 Am I missing something, or does Quantum GIS not have the ability to do
even simple attribute queries? Seems the only thing one can do is open
an attribute table and sort ascending or descending.

Is there a better open source GIS client out there that can do queries?
(not GRASS please - I want a nice GUI, not command-line GIS like
ArcInfo Workstation). It's a shame about QGIS - I like the interface.

You might want to try OpenJUMP which has a nice selection interface.
