Hi there, I own a QTEK 8310 Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphone and since weeks I
get this bad message quite often... it's driving me crazy!

I've deleted all I can from the internal memory and moved everything on the
storage card (a 512 Mb miniSD)... in the main memory I keep only calendar,
contacts and a ring tone... when I check for the free memory I see about
20,000 Kb free, so I don't understand why this alert is always shown... such
painful!

is there any way to disable this warning and/or to set a way to store
contacts and calendar in the storage card instead on the main memory?!?!?

Thanks, Davide.

I have a T-Mobile SDA (same phone) and I sometimes get the same error. I
also have been moving everything possible from internal memory to the
Mini SD card.

I cannot figure out what the cause might be for the error.

Have you tried all of the following:

Install/reinstall all third-party programs to the storage card if possible.

Move your home screens, ringtones, internet explorer cache/temp
files/history, net compact framework 2.0 (if you installed it), and your
email and attachments to the storage card. (Instructions for how to do
each of these things can be easily found with a google search or at
Modaco, Howard Forums, or the xda and spv developers' forums.)

Using explorer from your desktop, delete unused home screens, sounds,
pictures, etc. There might be more there than you think. T-Mobile, at
least, wasted a lot of my storage memory with sample pictures and sounds
that I happily deleted. They'll return, of course, if I do a hard reset.

I regained a lot of storage memory on my SDA this way and stopped
getting those silly error messages.
