Is there a security setting change I need to make?
Is there a driver I need to download?

I have tried to download software from 3 different vendors - different
problems from all.

Be easier if you posted what those problems were, but for a start did you
ensure that your phone was application unlocked. If you are installing
programs that are not signed, these will error and not allow you to proceed.

First off learn about your phone, it is a HTC Tornado, these have a number
of different brandings, then go to www.modaco.com, you will learn all about
how to fix it yourself.

I understand that. Please, if you do not want to help you do not need to
respond. I have been to modaco and that is why I am here.

You were asked to post what the errors and messages were, otherwise no one
can help you.

Put it this way, you are asking us to find a needle in a haystack in a field
of haystacks - where do you start.

Do you understand this.

or rather you cannot help. no big deal. i just thought there might be a
more universal issue since it was across multiple software vendors AND it is
with a new OS. I guess there is no "5.0" certified software list?
