You may be receiving the audio error message because of permissions issues
or because the file has actually been moved from its original location. My
recommendation is to remove the xbox 360 from the Media Center PC and then
re-add it. This will reset the library that you see in Media Center on the
Xbox 360 and remove the duplicates.
Do the following to remove and re-add the Xbox 360 to the media Center PC.
At the Windows XP Media Center PC
a) Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to Media
Center, and then click Media Center Extender Manager.
b) Select your Xbox 360 and click Properties.
c) Click Remove.
d) Click Yes to confirm removal.
e) Select File, Add a new Xbox 360
f) Follow the on screen instructions to re-add the Xbox 360.
If you would like to see music located on a network share in Media Center on
the Xbox 360 you will need to set the permissions for the network share to
allow "Everyone" read access. Once the permissions are set, you can add
this network share using the following steps:
At the Xbox 360, using the Xbox 360 Controller
a) Make sure Windows Media Center is running.
b) On the Xbox 360 controller, press the Start button and then select
either My Music, My Pictures, or My Videos.
c) Press the X on the controller to activate the More Info menu
d) Select Add Music, Add Pictures, or Add Video and then press the A
button on the controller.
e) Select Add folders and then select Next
f) Select Add shared folders from another computer and then select Next
g) Select the checkbox next to the folder you would like to watch and
select Next
h) Select Finish
i) Allow the Add Media process to complete. When it is finished it will
return back to the Settings menu.
