I installed the Adobe PDF Ifilter 6.0. As a result MSN Desktop Search
successfully finds PDF documents located on my harddisk, but it does NOT
find PDF documents attached to my e-mails!

Did I miss something? Who can help?
(XP SP2, OL2003)

Do you have the option selected to index email attachments? What version of
Adobe Acrobat do you have?

.... yes I did select the option! Word-/ PowerPoint-attachments etc. are
indexed correctly.
The version of Adobe Acrobat is 6.0.

Perhaps I have to say that my Windows and my Office is in German language.
But it works fine except for the problem described.

Yes, between the Beta and the Release we really tightened up some of the
security aspects of the product especially as related to indexing
attachments. The Adobe plug-in currently doesn't implement everything it
needs to in order to adhere to this new security and we've contacted Adobe
about updating it.
