Problems sync'ing files

Hi all. I sync my HP 2210 with both my home computer and work computer,
normaly without problem. However just recently activesync will not
synchronise my files. I can browse them on the PDA through activesync but
cannot sync them. This is the error message I get:

"Items of one or more information types cannot by synchronized. Disconnect
and reconnect your device. To view all error messages and dialog boxes that
require your input, you must connect to this computer via infrared or
serial/USB cable."

Of course I have tried disconnecting the PDA and I am connected via USB.
Anyone any ideas?

try a soft reset.
(usual warning- backup first just in case)

Nope. I've already tried that. I soft reset frequently anyway. It keeps
the Bluetooth working well.
Anyone got any other ideas, appart from reisntalling AS?
