Problems Installing the latest version of MSN Toolbar burningmysoul 01-26-2006

I'm running through the newsgroups right now ad might not get back until late
this evening or even tomorrow, but let me see what I can find. Maybe we need to
remove some folders/files and even poke in the Registry. If the installer thinks
you have the Toolbar installed, but it has been removed via add/remove programs,
there is clearly something left behind. Hang in there!

Problem solved Steve!

I found in C:/Program Files/Msn Apps a Msn Toolbar folder which I deleted it
and after I installed the newest version of the toolbar and there it is! I'm
using it already :) anyway thanks for your concerning, pacience and all your
help :)

I just love when a problem is resolved! Thanks for posting your findings back.
I'm glad that it was as easy as deleting the leftover folder and didn't require
any registry poking. Enjoy!

try toolbarcorp i used it and got rid of the error message you get all the
time and gave up having msn toolbar there are better toolbars out there .
