Hello all.

I'm using ActiveSync 4.1.0 (build 4841) and encounter a wierd problem when
uploading a big files at device (motorola mpx-200). File that is greater 50
Mb is impossible to upload. But if I break it into 2 chunks (using rar for
example) then all will be OK. Is this a well-known problem ? Is there any KB
that describes this problem ? How to fix it ?

I am using Motorola MPX-200 with Windows Smartphone 2003; XP SP2 (I even
encounter this problem on Windows Server 2003).

Thanks in advance.

This has been mentioned in the past a number of times. What people do is
transfer the files to a memory card using a card reader. Then put the memory
card into the device. I have no idea if your device has a card slot to do
this.

MS has a search facility for the Knowledgebase articles that you can use if
you want to look for things- try using that if you want to find out if there
are any articles.

ActiveSync 3.8 and its engine (which is used in ActiveSync 4.1 -
ActiveSync 4.1 only provides an advantage to those using Windows
Mobile 5) is notorious for being very inefficient in transferring
large files, and often transferring large files will fail.

You're better off copying the files to the memory card using a USB
memory card reader, rather than through ActiveSync.

Hi,
It is my understanding that Windows Mobile 2003 was never shipped oficially
for the MPX-200. So the rom you are using is unsupported. I suggest you
contact Motorola for assistance.
