Hi all.

I have a web app which displays a grid of unscaled images, such that
the exact view depends on the size of the div in which the app is
placed. Normally, the app is placed in a div with
style="position:absolute;top:0px;left:0px;width:100%;height:100%", so
it occupies the entire document area. I've prepared a document which
resembles my app closely enough for the purposes of this issue:
http://www.maryanovsky.com/sasha/tmp/test/test.html. The page is very
simple: it has one div occupying the entire page as above, with
"overflow:hidden", and inside it is one large image.

The problem I am trying to solve is getting the page to print
*exactly* as seen by the user, at least in IE7 and latest Firefox. One
might wonder whether it is at all possible, but it seems that Google
Maps does exactly that. It also displays a grid of unscaled images
(the map tiles), such that the points at which they are cropped to the
viewport depend on the size of the map, and when you "Print Preview",
the map, exactly as seen by the user, is scaled to fit the page.

Thanks,
Alexander (aka Sasha) Maryanovsky.

The page loads without the image. All I see is the alternative text
"Katherine Heigl".

You have 8 XHMTL errors. Fix them, and then try again.

Sorry, it validated when I posted. I guess then I edited it and
inserted an extraneous double quote. Fixed now.
