 Hi

I have Microsoft Windows Desktop Search installed on a number of
computers but on one the preview is not working. No e-mail, contacts
etc are previewed. Only a message saying in Swedish "Det g=E5r inte att
visa en f=F6rhandsgranskning" (preview can not be shown) is shown.

Any ideas what to do?

 Has the indexing finished on that server? Are there any files existing
in the indexed drive/folder? Have you installed the relevant iFilters
for the files that cannot be previewed?

It is Outlook data (emails, contacts etc) which can not be previewed. I
don't think I need an iFlter for that. Am I right?
Yes, it has finished indexing and I can search and get the data. The
only thing missing is the useful preview.

Did you have Outlook open/running whilst the indexing was going on? I seem
to recall that you need to have it open in order for WDS to index emails,
contacts etc.
