I am basically trying to prevent users from being able to access the network
through a UNC path. I have set the appropriate group policies to disable the
Run menu and IE address bar, but if the user types a UNC path into an Office
application and then clicks it the path is opened. I'm a developer, not a
networking guru, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am wondering the same thing.

Is there a way to disable the address bar or to prevent UNC browsing.
I have looked through GPO and see nothing
