Hi

The problem I have been trying to get to the bottom of for the past 7
days, seems to be getting clearer.

My website is running on a Hosting companies Linux box, with CPAN Perl
installed.

It appears that my shoping cart software does require SSL support, but
according to the cart company that support is done by their own SSL
module, uploaded when the Cart is uploaded. I think there is a
possibility that the cart company's SSL module is only used if a
standard SSL module is not present. At other times it has been
suggested that if I upload a pre-compiled Perl module into my
webspace's cgi-bin I can use the modules functions. Can I therefore
upload a precompiled crypt:SSLeay module into the cgi-bin and test
whether I am correct about it being required?

If so how would I get a pre-compiled version? I'm not personnaly
running any Linux machines and I dont have Perl installed. Does anyone
have any links to a module that would work?

Many thanks
Pete

Try Googling for "crypt ssleay rpm".
