Power On Password problem Sridhar1460 03-10-2006

Hi,
I recently bought an O2 ATom and installed the good link software to
download email messages from my corporate server. However the software forces
a power on password. The O2 atom does not have a true keyboard (only a
virtual keyboard). I am unable to get to the key board in order to enter my
power on password and even on a soft reset/reboot of the device, the device
gets stuck at a password screen! The only option I have is to hard reset the
device thereby losing all my applications and data.

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Many thanks in advance!

The soft keyboard should be available if that was the selected input
option... for example, if it was set to transcriber, that should be usable.

Look for a tiny uparrow at the bottom center of the screen which will
pull up the input options where you can select the soft keyboard.

If it's not there, soft reset the device (look for a small hole for the
stylus tip) which should present the input options.

Beverly,
Thanks for the response!

I have tried all of that to no avail - there is no virtual keyboard
available (no tiny arrow), the application seems to take over the entire
screen and I am unable to do any form of input other than a hard reset.

Any other ideas on how to get around this issue?
Thanks!
