I recently learned not to trus my Qtek S200 smartphone as I was sending an
SMS-message to a buddy.

When the SMS was sent, the phone appended the contents of a randomly
selected e-mail from my HotMail inbox on my phone. Luckily this was a trusted
buddy of mine who told me that he had received an SMS with "weird" content.
Unluckily for me the contents that was sent was information about the
username and password I use to connect to a website. No need to say I had to
change this later on.

The SMS stored in the SMS outbox on my phone contained only the original
content that I had typed, and nothing of the mail that was appended to the
message as it was sent...

Unfortunately this was not a single incident, over the last few weeks this
has happend several times.

My guess is that this is a buffer-overflow error that occurs then the phone
is being "stressed". I have also found that one or more applications has
serious problems when it comes to "memory-leaking".

Anyone with the same experience?

Phone: Qtek S200
OS:
ROM-version 2.10.7.27 NOR
ROM-Date: 2/17/06
ExtROM-version: 2.10.7.108

Can anyone from Microsoft please respond to this?

Best regards

Same thing with my qtek 9100 and with my Htc Tytn. I had a lot of
problems for this. Anyone can help us?

Thanks,

Ale
