Hello, all.
I have a Dell Axim x51v with WM 5 and am using ActiveSync 4.1. The
synchronization used to work, until today, when I suddenly started getting
the above-mentioned error code. I am NOT connected to an exchange server. I
do have a firewall, ZoneAlarm Pro, which has been allowing synchronization,
also, it seems, until today! Today I have to disable it every time I wish to
synchronize.
NONE of the information on this error message I have seen so far (including
the posts in this ng) was of any help. If anybody knows how to fix this
problem, I will be forever grateful.
Thank you.

Did you perform any upgrades or updates to ZoneAlarm Pro? Is there
anything in the logs for ZoneAlarm which would show what's being
blocked and why?

No, I didn't change the firewall in any way.
Here is copy of the log, which I know pertains to the PDA:

(TCP Port 26675) was blocked

Destination IP 169.254.2.2:26675

Does this clarify anything for you?

Please log in for more thread options I just added the IP to the "trusted" zone. It works now.
Thanks, Rob!
Any idea on why this suddenly happened, though?

Please log in for more thread options I think I have this issue resolved. In my case anyway. I checked SSL
in the Server Option for AS. Sync and wait until you get the message
"Waiting for Server" or something like that. Then go in and uncheck
SSL. I can now sync as I could prior to a week ago. In both cases you
will need to reenter your password. Please post if this helps you or
not.
