 Hello,

When myself and other employees have Q phones. When trying to play WAV files
we get the following error:

"Cannot play back the audio stream: the audio format is not support"

This is a windows mobile 5.0 device. Is there any 3rd party software or
updates that will allow the Q phone to play WAV files.

 wav files are supported but some codecs, notably the cisco voicemail
codec (ulaw) is not... some third party players (don't know one for
smartphone) do.

Your cisco admin can also change the codec to another such as gsm if you
have any clout in the system.

coreplayer works great on my Q. there is also an older freeware
version of tcpmp that works. search the qusers software forums

Core player is working for Q, treo, and pocket pc. thank you for your help.

I also installed TCPMP coreplayer.

However, when I play a wav file, it plays over the speakerphone. Most times
I am listening to voicemail via my email and I would like to listen to them
on the earphone speaker. Do you know how to set the audio to go to that
speaker?
