Hello all,

This must be a simple question, I hope ;-)

I have a Qtek 8100 and I have synchronized it with Outlook 2003, but the
problem is that for some reason, when someone call me the phone just shows
the phone number and not the caller's name from the Contacts list.

So the question is why?

Best regards,

René

Ensure all your numbers are formatted with your country code and in our
case (UK) we have to remove the leading zero so a number over here like
07123456789 would have to be formatted like +447123456789 (with 44 being
our country code) then it will correctly.

Thanks for your answer,

The problem with your solution is that Outlook automatic format the phone
numbers when I enter a number for a contact. I my case (Denmark) a phone
number has 8 digits and a country code, so the number is entered like this
12345678 and Outlook automatic formats it as 12 34 56 78. It can't be
correct that I should reformat each phone number in my contact list, to get
the phone to display incoming calls correct.

Best regards,

René

That sounds like an Outlook issue rather than one with your phone. You
should be able to change the automatic formatting in Outlook but yes, you
will likely have to reformat your existing numbers due to this.

David
