Phone number in text easy to dial? John 05-18-2006

Hi,
In some apps on my PPC Phone, phone numbers are highlighted and are easy to
dial by pressing 'Talk', but this does not occur in other apps. I am
working with a develoiper on writing a custom app and want to have this
feature available. Is this something that the app has to have programmed in
or is it somehow a function of the OS?

In researching this, I tried Bev Howards suggestion of entering Tel: before
a number in the notes field of a contact, but this didn't work...

I am using XV6700 PPC Phone with WM5 (Verizon)

Thanks in Advance!

Would you post an entry here exactly as you typed it into a notes field?
(don't use a "real" number ;-)

Curious why you need this in the contact's notes field in place of other
contacts telephone fields.
