Has any one had to need to tweak their BIOS? My laptop has Phoenix
BIOS and I need to make several changes on it. Is there such thing as
a BIOS editor available?

There is. But I must caution you that that sort of thing is VERY high
risk. You could turn your laptop into a doorstop.

I was able to download the software, installed it and Iam in the
process of editing my BIOS. Thansk, this really helps. It you happen
to see a doorstop that looks like a laptop you know what happened.
Thanks.

DO take the precaution of backing up the old BIOS first, on to a
floppy at least. It's also possible to get a situation somewhere in
between laptop and doorstop, that may be recoverable. You can also
recover from a total doorstop situation by replacing the bios chip
(but there's a long turnaround in shipping).

Actually, my line of work puts me into contact with quite a few
doorstops that look like laptops. (Computer recycler and refurbisher)
How will I recognize yours? :)
