There is a way to do this:
Try making the following changes to avoid being prompted for a password
while indexing.
a. Click File
b. Select Security
c. Click User Security
d. Under Your Login and Password Settings check the box labeled
"Don't prompt for a password from other Notes-based programs (reduces
security)."
