This is mind blowing if you ask me. Verizon charges a premium for
their data service but disables tethering. From what I've read this
feature will be available later this year?

In the mean time PdaNet for the 700w is coming soon from June Fabrics.

If works great with the 600.

I'm still up in the air on upgrading from the 600. I was not all that
impressed with the screen resolution of the 700w. I'd like hear some
of your feedback. :o)

I have been using BB 7250 for a while, after BB got sued and possibly get
shut down by NPT by Feb 1st, the company I am working for is looking for an
alternative.
In certain scenario I will have to replace all 200+ BBs with PocketPCs

I tested Samsung SCH-i730 for 2 weeks and did not like it, the battery time
is not so good (23-24hrs with extended battery)
It is too bulky for business use. It notified me about new email on sub
folders :-)...but it is windows PPC 2003 so I can't use it.(no direct push
from exchange 2003 3 minuts to get new emails!) Verizon said they will
release SCH-8xx, and it will be Mobile 5.0 based. (by end of Q1?)

The screen on the SCH-i730 is huge! that is only thing I liked. but that
gave me about 4 more lines to see when I am surfing the web...so that is not
such a big deal for me.

Currently I am waiting for this device (Motorola Q), looks good to me, I
hope verizon will sell this soon.

I like palm 700w, it is small about the size of BB, only thing bugs me is...
it can't notify me about new email on sub folders.
It is M$ mobile 5.1, which is excellent !
If Palm 700w did not have notification problem, I would buy 200+ of them and
release it.

It looks like I will have to evaluate other device. Ah, screen on 700w is
ok, not too small not too big for business use.
For gaming,,,,it is too small.
