I have a i600 Samsung and would like to setup a POP or IMAP connection to my
MSN account. I can get to Hotmail through the browser, but would like to
have the realtime connection.

Thanks

Unfortunately, as far as I know, Hotmail doesn't support SMTP/POP3
connections. Check out this link for more info:

If you have an MSN account (not the same as hotmail) then I believe it
is posisble to connect to it via SMTP/POP3. MSN was originally a
service provider that was later bought out by Microsoft. As such, it
used to (and still does as far as I know) use SMTP/POP3 servers, making
it possible for you to migrate your account to one (server).

Hope this reply has been of some use.

Use HTTPMail Provider
(http://www.smartphone.net/software_detail.asp?id=950), it's an add-on for
the smartphone inbox.

Hehe, this program looks neat. It seems to use an HTTP connection
instead of POP3/SMTP to synch. Still, it really matters very little (I
should hope) which protocol is being used as long as you get your email
:D. Nice find Adrian!

Cheers,

Faust.
