hi,
On Windows Mobile 5 and earlier version, PIE does not recognize the tag
<WBR> which indicates at what places some long words can be broken (to fit
in the screen without having to use the horizontal slide bar).
this tag is especially useful on mobile devices that have small screen, so i
am very surprised that it is not supported in Mobile Internet Explorer.
the only alternative idea i could think of was using , which is
supposed to be a zero-width space character, but unfortunately it is not
defined in the default (english) character set - so it displays as a missing
glyph square - and also, PIE does not recognize this character as a place
where lines can be broken, so it does not work.
is there any alternative?
could someone enter this (i.e. <WBR> not supported) in the Windows Mobile
knowledge / bug database?
