Can a carrier upload and install an application on my Windows Mobile
phone? Can this happen all in the background?

 Technically, yes. There's a bunch of info about over the air device
management in the SDK.

Thanks Robert.

Should I look into OMA Device Management Provisioning or is that for
Windows Mobile 5.0 only? Should I look into WAP provisioning for older
versions?
