My Omnia (SCH-I910) was not syncing any of my Outlook information. So I
preformed a hard reset thinking that would fix it. It had been working
great but then it just stopped syncing. Now it only syncs some of the
information. It seems to pick and choose which events on the calendar it
wants to keep. I have a bunch of all day items (birthdays of my students)
and it does not sync any of the all-day events. It also skips some of the
scheduled events too. For instance I have two meeting on next Monday. It
synched meeting two but not meeting one. It seems to be syncing the
contacts just fine now though. But I NEED all the calendar events to sync.
I can't seem to figure out the issue. I have not installed any new software
or anything. I am out of ideas, I would appreciate any assistance anyone
could offer.

You might have a flaky Outlook data file. Depending on which version of
Office/Outlook you have, repairing that may be a bit different. You can go
to help and search for repair. It will probably get you to where you can
find and run scanpst.exe I'd give that a shot. Doesn't hurt to run it on a
good data file, so it can't hurt. (Well, yes it can, as can any process, but
it shouldn't)

I did a search to find the scanpst.exe but I have not ran it yet. According
to web sites it says it fixes the inbox. Will it fix the calendar too? I
found the diagnostic tool in the help menu but it did not find anything. I
guess my question is, if it only fixes the inbox, then is it going to help
me?

A pst is your personal folders which includes mail, calendar, contacts, etc.
I think the article may just be a little generic in calling it the Inbox.
