I have a BlackJack II, Outlook 2003 and am using ActiveSync 4.5.

Over the weekend I made some changes in my phone to my schedule and I have
just noticed that these are not being updated in outlook.

I do not remember this being a problem before. Is this a setting that I
have missed or do I have an issue. I have had problems with out look in the
past and I noticed this morning that I had two computers listed in the active
sync screen though they were both called the same computer (I only sync with
one computer) - deleted the one that it would let me delete.

thanks for your suggestions

..steve

Hi Steve,

If the changes are future dated, they should sync. It if hasn't then would
recommend a soft reset first. If they were for past dates, you might want to
check the settings that you are synchronizing for the Calendar. You can
access them under Tools -> Option, select Calendar and click Settings.

I have checked the settings and they are correct. It is set to sync ALL past
and future events.

Some of the new events have now been sync'd with the computer (this is about
3 hours after I plugged the phone in and about 1 hour after I last looked).
It seems that the events marked as busy have sync'd but the ones marked as
free have not.

I have to find the manual to do a soft reset (I am new to windows mobile
having used palm for the last 5 years+). I did power down and back up and
force a sync and that did not help. I need to understand what a reset will do
to my data and programs.

I assumed he meant on the PC. I did this and all was OK.

This morning after a PC reboot (I am still trying to solve what a soft reset
means to the BlackJack), it looks like everything is syncing again. strange
