I would say yes and yes. Have you tried it yet? Or would it be possible to
upgrade to 4.1?

I use active sync on my Cingular 8125 (HTC 8125) works fine. Probably a
good idea to get it.

Thanks for the reply - I wanted to find this out before I bought the
device - I have 3.7 on my work PC and it cannot be upgraded because of
limited IT resources.

What resources exactly? Hardware?
