I now see what happened in my case. I had to restore the ROM image of my old
IPAQ due to some unresolveable issues and as a result when I connected to
establish a partnership, my old partnership was still there consequently
creating a situation whereby a partnership already existed. Solved the issue
by deleting all partnerships and giving my device a new name.
