Hello,

I am looking for a freeware which can be used for converting my contour
maps (scanned TIFF files) into XYZ ASCII data.
I have tried to use WinDig but it looks like it can only give XY
points. Does anyone know any free software which can be used for this
purpose? I know Neuralog's NDS Map can do the job because I have used
it before when I was still working in industry but since I am doing
research now in a university, I am sure it will cost too much for
me/our research group and also it is not used regularly.

Any help/information will be appreciated.

Many thanks..

Min
