Office Mobile 6.1 Upgrade Mike Hudgell 12-20-2007

 I've just discovered the office mobile 6.1 upgrade pages
(http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/software/officeupgrade.mspx) and
tried to install it on my WM6 Standard device.

It won't install saying the language of the phone is different from the
language of the update [Phone: English, Update: Worldwide English].

Has anyone encountered this before and found a solution?

Also, I thought MS was dropping pocket pc/smartphone distinction in favour
of classic/standard/professional yet the aforementioned page definately says
WM6 Smartphone...

Are you trying to upgrade a legit version?

I know the same error has been received in the past by people who were
trying to apply service packs to illegal copies of MS Office.
