Yes. MS pulled it before I got to D/L it as well. MS' page now says
it's "coming soon."

I have over 3,000 phones deployed in the field, is there a .cab format for
this update so I can push it out via my 3rd party software? Otherwise I will
have recall all the devices just so I can load the wares from a desktop.
Seems like way to much work!

>> is there a .cab format for this update <<

There are a number of ways to extract the cab, the simplest being to run
the install with no device connected, then find the folder and cab
created during the install process (_normally_ under
progamfiles/microsoftactivesync)

You can then copy the cab file to the ppc and execute it there... see
http://BevHoward.com/bhhpj.htm#Cabs for more info.

_HOWEVER_ some apps may install activesync plugins during the pc install
such as file converters, so I would determine if that is happening
before going the cabinstall route.

Beverly and Jeff:

Thank you both for the valuable input, I will test it out soon. If I run
into a snag, I will post it.

Regards,
Wes
