I have a Samsung Blackjack that I use to sync with my office laptop. If I am
in the office and on the company network, Activesync connects and
synchronizes data fine. If I try to synchronize when I am out of the office,
then Activesync connects, the sync begins, but it never finishes (I left it
on overnight to try).

I spoke to the IT dept at work, and they told me that because they only
support Blackberry that they could not help me. When working remotely I use
a VPN client to connect to the office, I cannot get both the VPN and
Activesync to connect at the same time. Is it possible that the VPN client
is somehow preventing me from synching data? I thought that I did not need
to be connected to the (work) network to sync data from Outlook. If I could
get Activesync to connect at the same time as the VPN then it may rule it
out as a problem, but I can't figure out a way to get them both to connect
at the same time.

I am using WM6, USB cable and AS 4.5 .......... any help appreciated.

Thanks.
