I have my smartphone - Cingular 8125 running WM5 - set to require a password
after an hour of inactivity. Works fine, except that if I receive a
notification for an appointment in Pocket Outlook, the notification dialog
appears over the password dialog box, and I can view the notification, and
snooze or dismiss it. Shouldn't you be required to log in before viewing
notifications or dismissing them? I have some apoointments that have mildly
sensitive data in them.

People have vastly different ideas about what should show up over device
lock. In this case it was far more common that people wanted their
appointments to show over the lock screen.
But this and similar arguments are always raging in here. To meet everyone's
needs on this feature we would probably have to make it configurable.

I can understand that. I figured there had been consideration, and I was
curious. I wasn't sure if I was the only one in the world that even noticed
or cared. I tend to be a little more sensitive about those things because I
use my work Exchange server for business and personal appointements. So to
protect my privacy, I don't share my calendar, and I mark really personal
appointments as private. And people occasionally put too much information in
meeting requests.
