For laughs, on the device, go to Settings/Connections(Tab)/USB-to-PC (if
it's there), uncheck the box that says "Enable Advanced Network
Functionality" and try synching again. If that works, leave it like that!
If not, disable the firewall on your PC temporarily and try synching again.
