I would check the properties - security of the printer to make sure that
users/everyone or a group that contains your users has print permissions to
the printer. Also check the logs in Event Viewer to see if anything is
recorded there that may be helpful and you may want to enable more logging
than usual at least temporarily which you can do by going to Printers and
Faxes/file/server properties/advanced to see the logging options. You may
also want to post in a print or printing newsgroup. If the problem is
related to a security update others may have experienced this and know a
solution. It would be helpful if you posted the updates you applied also in
your post. If you go to Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs and select
"show updates" at the top right side of the page you can see the updates
that have been installed, the date they were installed, and uninstall if
need be. --- Steve
