Tyler,
had the same issue yesterday after installing the latest intel embedded
graphics (GMA) driver on my vista system. Went into device manager and
deleted the video driver including the driver files, rebooted and used
windows update to reinstall everything. After that the dvd option was back,
and one other thing i noticed that when scrolling through the menu options
the 'fluid motion' was back.
So it looks like the video driver did something funny to MediaCenter.
