Please log in for more thread options Thanks for the response, Beverly. Unfortunately my Cingular 2125 does
not have a touch screen and the email client does not have any option
to "leave mail on server", or to create a folder to store mail messages
in. This is really absurd to me. How am I supposed to archive my mail
messages? Interestingly, a co-worker has a "tap-able" Cingular 8125
running WM5 and his email client *does* allow the creation of mail
folders. In fact, his user interface looks different with different
options. It's as if the 2125 has a "stripped down" version of the
email application with fewer options.
Regarding mail messages on the server, the experience I've had with the
2125 email client is that downloaded messages will not appear in my
desktop email program if they don't "check in" with server soon after
the 2125 receives them.
Another co-worker has recommended "Flexmail" for the ppc, but I
hesitate to have to buy an email program until I'm certain the bundled
email app can't do these simple tasks. So far I'm not having any luck
in the forums regarding this topic.
