Oops - forgot to say that I don't want to know if it was down last
Thursday; I want to know if it's down *now*. If it's down for more
than a few minutes, I want to telephone my host to find out what's
wrong and when they expect it to be fixed.
Also, on occasion I haven't been able to reach my site but did not get
any notification that it was down. Each time, it's meant that the
problem lay with my ISP rather than my hosting company - useful info.
