 I have a motorola Q that came with activeSync 4.1. With 4.1 I didn't
have any problems, but after installing 4.2 get some really bad errors
when I disconnect my device from the USB cable (after I have finished
syncing).
I really don't get an error message, what actually happens is that
when I disconnect the phone it kills my network connection (that takes
down my vpn, internet, email, etc) and there is no way to restore it
again. I have to shut down and reboot.

Any ideas/recommendations?

If finally figured it out.... it was my VPN connection. When ever my
VPN is connected and I disconnect the device it kills all the networks
connections. If I first disconnect the VPN then disconnect, everything
works out fine. Maybe some one from the MSFT ActiveSync team con
provide some insight on this bug.
