So far, after reading quite a lot of stuff available to me, I have
been able to find out that, e.g. in Landsat TM images, the following
band ratios have been succesfully used to distinguish among different
geological features: 5/7, 3/1, 3/5, 4/1, 5/4, 7/5. Except for the
first (supposedly clay mineral ratio), I cant find what the other
ratios are for and what they do, or how can they be combined (if
possible) to further enhance the image for my purposes.
So here's my question: Is there some information about this on the
net, available for download (as in PDF texts etc.) or can someone
explain this to me, if it's not to much of a pain?

TIA,
Nash
