Hello Perl Gurus:
Looking for someone who wants to be a partner in a joint venture to develop,
market and support a Unix-based shopping cart.
I have over 10 years in software/hardware marketing and product management.
Am currently a webmaster for a high-tech firm in Colorado. I have experience
in implementing Perl/CGI based shopping carts.
Let me know if you're interested.
Regards,
Simon Langlais

Meaning?: you don't get paid, and if Simon makes a mess, you never see any
money...

Hi John:
Appreciate you casting doubt on my integrity.
Actually, a software publishing agreement amenable to both parties is what I
had in mind.
Despite your unwarranted cynicism, am still hopeful of making a go of it.

I have been around for quite some time, and every year I get offers like
yours. The person has a splendid idea, he did a lot of research. I have
to do the programming, and we both get rich.

And what happens if the project fails?
I have thought about deals like this a lot, and the only thing that
would work for me is:
person pays 50% of my hours
Every other deal is a big big risk for the programmer, and very little
for the guy with the idea.

I doubt this is the right place.
