I notice that some people has compatibility issues with Nero and I also
experience issues below:

interface slowdown when watching tv, video stutering on MCE 2005 after using
some features NERO OEM 6.6.0.15 and Nero Digital 3.1.0.14.

Nero Recode, Nero Show time, Nero Vision express is causing this issue

the only way to fix is to use System restore.

Latest versions of Nero (pre 7.0) can be found here
http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/nero-up.php

Your versions are a bit dated. Download the packages you actually need
(looks like package 1 and 2)

I'm the one that has been chuntering about Nero 7. I used OEM Nero 6, keeping
it up to date and never had any problems with it. I only went to Nero 7
because it had a facility to burn unprotected DVDs which I think I needed to
buy a plugin for to get Nero 6 to do it, there was a half price offer on Nero
7 (I know why now!) and ti felt like a good idea to keep up to date.

Stick with Nero 6 - it worked fine for me.

If you have stuttering, I wonder if it might help to run the decoder check
facility and make sure your main decoder is set to the default?

What decoder are you using?
