 Good Morning

For some reason my HP Ipaq syncs every 10 minutes. I have changed the
schedule to sync manually, but that didn't work. Any ideas would be
appreciated.

 It's not your HP. I too have one and asked about the problem and
it takes place with any device.

It's just that ActiveSync is crappy. You have almost no control over
it. It's the way it is. It was supposedly better before version
3.8 (I think, from what I heard) because you could decide in
which direction to sync, etc... A bit like the HotSync tool works
with the Palms.

Now you're stuck with 4.5.

Mine too disconnects and reconnects randomly, and even
in the middle of a sync (how convenient).

The only workaround I have found to this plague is to use
ActiveSyncToggle, a freeware that lets you immediately turn A.S.
off after a successful syncing. It works like a charm.

But you have to re-enable it if you want to sync again.
It's just a click on a button though, so it's less painful
that having that stupid A.S. taking control of everything
like a lunatic.
