I've seen articles like this:
http://windowsitpro.com/article/articleid/97565/moving-a-certificate-authority-ca-to-another-dc.html

On backing up a CA, backing up the registry then restoring it on another CA.

Does not seem like I should be restoring the registry on a Windows 2008
server from entries on a Windows 2000 server.

The Standalone CA is used for PIX Firewall. If I cant transfer to a new CA
all of the Remote endpoints and Clients will have to renew Certs. Kind of a
Pain.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks,
Scott<-

You need to do two upgrades in place
Win2k ===> Win2k3
Win2k3 ===> win2k8
