I installed the beta 3 and it installed the driver for motorola v3, but
there is no icon in the control panel to start the center. I cannot access
the phone at all. It shows as a USB device on drive H:, but when I click it,
it says, 'please insert a disk into removable drive h:'. Where is the sync
center?

Motorola what? This group is really dedicated to Smartphones that run the
Windows mobile OS. From Motorola that would be the MPX220 (fairly old) and
the Motorola Q. If it is one of those, you need to go find Windows Mobile
Device Center (WMDC) on Microsoft's site. It's essentially the ActiveSync of
Vista, and it's still in Beta.

If you are talking about a RAZR V3, can't help you, but you would need to
get the appropriate drivers and such out of Motorola. Since Vista isn't
really out yet, it may be some time till OEMs provide support that is not
already in there.
