Greetings,
Is there a way to replace the default Camera soft-key with a calendar
soft-key? I never use the camera, but do want to see upcoming appointments,
etc.

If the RAZR V3 were a Windows Mobile Smartphone, first off, Calendar would
already be one of the soft keys. Second Changing it would be possible,
though with registry edits, or third party applications that essentially
make reg edits for you.
Unfortunately the RAZR is not a Windows Mobile device (darn it), so it is
unlikely that folks here would know the answer. It is really a Windows
Mobile Smartphone newsgroup, though that isn't really clear from it's title.
You might try a newserver other than microsoft's and see if there aren't
RAZR specific groups. They are popular enough I would think there would be.

Look in your manual for 'shortcuts'. You can assign the bottom selection in
a chain to a shortcut. To perform a shortcut afterwards, select the middle
'selection' key then the associated number. On my Razr the middle softkey +1
= turn on Bluetooth.
When you depress the center of the 'mouse' button, the nine icons there can
be moved. I have contacts under the center so two depressions of the mouse
click button springs the contact list open.
It's not perfect, but will do until Cingular announces the Moto Q.
