About six months ago, after much frustration, I finally got my Motorola Q
Smartphone to sync with my home Laptop (let's call it Vista 1). I now hav e
a new Vista laptop (Vista 2) at work. I did all the normal trouble chouting
to get that one to sync:
*****Turned off Firewall
*****Downloaded and installed newest Windows Mobile Decive Center 6.1.6965.

Problem: it took 12+ hours to sync the Motorola Q to Vista 2. It also NOW
takes 12+ hours to synch it to Vista 1 (used to take 3-4 minutes).

If anyone can figure this out, you will get the Sherlock Holmes Award of the
Day!

Thanks, Rick

Rick,
I notice when I sync my Q9m, the prossessor often locks at 100%...and
the sync takes forever.
Try and "kill" all programs before you sync, and use "exit" to close the
memory manager. I find if you don't use exit to end the memory manager,
the prossessor often pins at 100% and can lock.
Good luck.
