Hello,

I am looking at getting a WM5 smartphone and I can't find a clear answer
to the question "Will I be able to sync Notes/Recordings with Activesync
without buying some 3rd party program? Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks

-Johnny

You can, that's a basic feature of Windows Mobile/Active Sync.

Nice, it's just not a feature of Smartphone 2003.

Remember that "sync" is between two devices / applications / end-points.

You can sync the WM5 with Outlook (2002 or later) running on your PC. This
sync can handle Notes and recordings (they are stored as .WMA files within
Outlook).

Sync from the device over the air to Exchange does not currently handle
Notes, although it does do Inbox, Calendar, Tasks, Contacts.
