Module with GSSAPI support? James Marshall 07-05-2005

A client wants me to write a SOCKS 5 proxy in Perl, which I've never done
before. One detail of the SOCKS 5 spec is that it has to support GSSAPI,
which unfortunately Net::Socks doesn't do.

Is there a Perl module that provides GSSAPI support? I've searched CPAN
and elsewhere and can't find any. Or am I even asking the right question?
For example, is it something like: Each encryption package has its own
GSSAPI interface, and I should find a Kerberos module (and/or others) and
use its GSSAPI interface?

Any clarification or good pages would be very appreciated!

Thanks,
James

If it had been a bear...or three-headed dog...it would've bit ya!
(Caveat, I haven't tried this yet, but will need to shortly,
so thanks for lighting a fire under me...).
